The Breakfast Club

La Dinette des fils à Maman, 4€ breakfast of toast and
jam, orange juice and a coffee. On Friday, we started
our own breakfast club. The Breakfast Club is also the
name of a pretty cool hipster diner in London.

Carson Ellis is an illustrator. One of the first illustrators that I discovered and
was inspired by. She is married to Colin Meloy, the lead singer of the group
The Decemberists. She of course does the artwork for the albums. She and
Colin have recently come out with their collaborated ghost story "The Grevious
Demise of Mr. Whitely Rackham" (written by Colin and illustrated by Carson).

An inspiring book by William McDonough about
sustainable design, with creative ideas about the future
of design that seem almost too good to be true.

A highly pleasing selection of todays illustrations and graphic

design. From the selection of artists, to the selection of the
paper of the book, I love everything about Nobrow Press.

Animator and film director, Norman Mclaren was well known

for his work for the National Film Board of Canada. In 1952
he won an Oscar for this stop motion documentary, "Neighbours".

I see a mix of folklore, native American, geometric,
and Scandanavian art. Beautiful. Go check out more
